Welcome to Surrey PBS Network

Positive Behaviour Support

Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is a person centred framework that provides guidance and tools to gain a deep understanding of a person. PBS enables support planning for people with a learning disability, who may not be able to tell others what their needs and wants are, to have a better quality of life. With better quality of life comes better wellbeing, and that naturally reduces distress and behaviour that may cause the person or others concern.
